whereabouts was founded in 2024 by Molly Freeman. After over a decade of meeting the needs of diverse geospatial professionals, Molly felt it was time to explore independent options. By 2024, she knew the time was right to begin serving others through her own firm. She founded whereabouts in order to help her fellow geospatial colleagues achieve their goals, through open, compassionate, and honest work.

Our straightforward methodology, including no-surprises pricing and open negotiation, shines bright in the geospatial industry. Core values at whereabouts demand that our work finds a balance between sustainable and innovative. Molly and her team focus on remaining constantly up-to-date on new techniques and software. Her dedication to the art of geospatial sciences led to Esri awarding her Partner status as a Member in 2025.

The team aims to serve organizations that in turn serve others. We thrive in providing these orgs with geospatial consulting in understandable, affordable, accessible, and consistent terms.
